Work-life balance during COVID-19

Almost all businesses are now promoting more social distancing by implementing mandatory home-based work and sending their staff home to work remotely. For minimizing the impact of COVID-19 which has become a top priority all over the world.
Working from home provides you great opportunities to connect with some of your core values, like family and community, while still providing quality service to your company. It also requires discipline, focus, and commitment, but the flexibility to define that yourself. You can create a work culture at home that represents you, not just the culture of your organization.
Three of the biggest benefits of working from home are its flexibility, financial savings and health advantages which is important during this covid-19 outbreak to be safe in all aspects.
Meanwhile, work from home can also be stressed full for people who are unable to manage a balance between work and family. Working from home is often celebrated as one of the best ways to achieve a work-life balance, but the biggest challenges to working productively at home are distractions or requests of family members for your attention. Significant others and children sometimes dont know that being at home does not mean you are going to hang out or play. While there is no way to get rid of family disturbances completely, a few tricks will make this problem much simpler for everyone. For that matter at the first step, do not neglect your physical and mental health. Meditate, practice yoga. Whatever it is that works for you, do what it takes to care for your body and mind.
Hence, do follow a few tips to balance between family and work
Work when you work best- Many people find that working in the morning while they feel refreshed will provide a more successful experience than beginning work halfway through the day after homework and doing other non-work-related activities. This is not valid in all situations, so feel free to experiment if this advice does not sound valid to you.
Set Some Boundaries Discuss with your family to make sure they know how important it is for you to be able to work when you are at home. You might say something like, I love having you near me while I am working, but I have trouble focusing when I am interrupted or there a lot of noise in the background. Id appreciate it if you could help me by keeping the noise down and pretending I m not even here during my work hours. Otherwise, my boss will kill me!
Prioritize the challenging tasks - Rather than letting unpleasant or difficult tasks hang over your head and create stress when you think about them, pushing yourself to get the most difficult jobs done first can help you clear your plate of those less exciting tasks, and you will feel a sense of accomplishment and increased energy and satisfaction all day. It will make you do the thing in a good time and you will get some family time as well.
Enjoy the bedtime routine. Bath time, storytime, or both, whether its time. If you have relaxed and slept, low energy levels will help you keep your eyes open throughout the bedtime story. You know your kids do not need or want to be full of entertainment, just having a quiet company while they play in the bath or a short story at bedtime is going to be enough for them. Then you can watch your children calm down happy to know that you are there.
Conduct business during traditional hours. Make your phone calls during normal business hours and keep administrative work for after-hours.
Reward Yourself To keep your energy levels up, its important to make your incentives. Taking a step back is a smart idea to break down activities into smaller, workable steps. Reward yourself for spending quality time with your kids, which can lead to a better atmosphere for your children.
Irrespective of how you unwind, find time to pamper yourself on occasion to prevent burning out and falling into a psychological brick wall from overloading work.
