The epidemic of coronavirus has made it mandatory for remote employees to work overnight. Over the last several weeks, many Indian businesses have forced their staff to work from home to socially isolate people and minimize the spread of Covid-19. Last week, and probably in the coming weeks, the majority of big corporations, including Apple, Google, and Amazon, have asked workers to work from home to avoid the spread of COVID-19. Although the immediate health advantages of avoiding rising workspaces are visible in the face of a terrifying pandemic.
But why have Indian businesses been waiting for a pandemic to follow a trend that has many advantages for both workers and employers? When lots of benefits altogether coming with work from home, as everyone has their own physical and mental space, and since then we have noticed that there as a better quality of ideas coming up. Digital presence has its kind of serendipity that does not require physical presence; digital presence makes a co- workers time even more precious.
The COVID-19 outbreak has changed the lives of billions of people worldwide. Many businesses both large and small have closed their doors, urging their employees to work remotely to avoid potential infection.
For many workers, having the flexibility of being able to work from home has been a dream they have pursued for a long time. There are many benefits of work from home during COVID- 19.
Increase in Productivity- Companies are certainly catching onto the trend and most of them have the flexibility to work from home, if not at all times, at least when needed. It s changing the way we operate, particularly in the field of technology. And while it may not be for everybody, employers can find that they can save money and improve productivity for certain employees. And for certain workers, home-based compensation can be the difference. Thus higher productivity has been repeatedly cited by professionals who work remotely.
Location is not an issue anymore- Employers can tap talent anywhere in the world as their workforce is not location-. Diversity— which many businesses see as an advantage to their workforce — can also expand more easily
Deal with distractions well Anyone working from home has less of social interaction which will lead to less distraction and higher concertation on their work. Better morale among employees with less turnover, lower absenteeism, and greater engagement is a likely outcome, even with part-time work from home allowances.
Adapting a new normal Online work has been on the rise for many years, and the COVID-19 pandemic will show the benefits and challenges of house-based work for several businesses that may not have considered it an option. Many populations, particularly neurodivergent individuals, may benefit from remote work both professionally and mentally.
