Professional statement
Overthinking patterns and people pleasing tendencies can often feel confusing and frustrating, especially when we are not sure where they are coming from or how to change them. I work with individuals to help them understand the roots of these patterns and gradually move towards healthier, more balanced ways of coping. Building self-awareness is a key part of this process—it helps in identifying how past experiences and relationships may be shaping current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
I also work extensively with relationship concerns, including feeling unheard or unseen, managing conflicts, improving communication, and understanding attachment patterns that may be impacting your connections.
My approach is integrative, drawing from therapies such as CBT, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), depending on your unique needs and where you are in your therapeutic journey. I also incorporate a trauma-informed lens to help you make sense of overwhelming or unexplained triggers that may stem from difficult past experiences.
In our work together, you can expect a safe and empathetic space where you can explore your concerns openly. At times, I may be gently direct to help you challenge patterns that are no longer serving you. The goal is to support you in understanding yourself more deeply, so you can move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and a sense of ease with who you are.
