Reschedule at no cost up to 12 hours before your session, from your dashboard or confirmation email. Inside 12 hours we'll try to find another slot but can't guarantee one.

Cancellation & refund
Cancel more than 24 hours before for a full refund. Between 24 and 12 hours, half the fee is refunded. Inside 12 hours the session is charged in full, because the slot is held for you and can no longer be offered to someone else.

Your expert waits 15 minutes. After that the session is marked as attended and charged — so please message us if something has gone wrong. We'd rather reschedule than charge you for nothing.

Is online therapy as effective as meeting in person?
For most common concerns, research consistently finds online sessions as effective as face to face. Some situations do need in-person care, and your expert will tell you directly if that's the case rather than continuing regardless.
Is what I say confidential?
Yes. Sessions are private between you and your expert, and your notes are encrypted. The limited exceptions are the ones every clinician works under — a serious risk to your life or someone else's, or a court order.
What if this expert isn't the right fit?
Tell us and we'll match you with someone else. Fit matters more than credentials in therapy, and it's a normal thing to change early on — you don't need to justify it.
Do I need a diagnosis to book?
No. Most people book because something isn't working, not because they've been diagnosed with anything.
What do I need for the session?
A private space, a stable connection, and headphones if others are around. Nothing to install — the session opens in your browser.
